The Miriwa Center, located at 728 Pacific Avenue in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown, is one of the neighborhood’s most iconic landmarks and the tallest commercial building in Chinatown. This project involved the replacement of approximately 15,000 square feet of outdated tile exterior walls with lightweight aluminum cladding. The new façade introduces a vibrant color contrast, giving the building a modernized and refreshed appearance while respecting its urban context. Construction was completed in July 2025 with a total duration of 15 months. HBM served as the general contractor and delivered significant value to the owner, achieving nearly $500,000 in material cost savings and shortening the overall project schedule through efficient material procurement.
